Today lessons: By the end of this lesson we will have…
1. categorised activities according to Bloom’s Taxonomy.
2. focused on scaffolding activities.
3. created a CLIL lesson plan.
4. evaluated a CLIL lesson plan.

The 4Cs - There are four guiding principles upon which a CLIL programme can be built.
1. Content- progression in knowledge and skills
2. Communication - interaction, language used to learn
3. Cognition - engagement: thinking and understanding
4. Culture - self and other awareness / citizenship



Bloom’s Revised Taxonomy
1. original taxonomy created in 1956.
2. promotion of higher forms of thinking in education such as analysing and evaluation.
3. move away from just remembering (rote learning).
4. often used when designing instruction or learning processes.
5. revised in the mid-nineties.
